Jakarta, 26 August 2021 – Time International is proud to congratulate Indonesian badminton athletes for their momentous victory in the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

Greysia Polii and Apriyani Rahayu, the unseeded couple, wrote history for Indonesia. They are the first Indonesian women’s doubles Olympic Gold medalist. Despite the 11 years age gap, they manage to overcome their differences and played exceptionally well throughout the tournament. Like a true winner, both Greysia and Apriyani showed commitment and determination in their journey to gold.

Anthony S. Ginting, World Ranking 5, in men’s singles discipline, earned his triumph after defeating Kevin Cordon from Guatemala at Kumamoto, Tokyo. Anthony played a cool, calm and collected set of games that resulted a bronze medal victory. He became the first Youth Olympic medalist to win a medal at the Olympic Games.

As a token of gratitude, Irwan Danny Mussry, President and CEO Time International together with Shannon Hartono, Vice President Time International hosted a private and relaxed get-together to present the athletes and coaches selected timepieces from INTime.
