The Met Gala 2024 unfolded as a spectacular convergence of fashion, art, and culture, captivating audiences worldwide with its mesmerising displays of creativity. Hosted at the illustrious Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the annual event marked a triumphant return to form after a hiatus, drawing together a constellation of A-list celebrities, fashion icons, and the industry’s big names.
Among the list of attendees were Nicholas Galitzine and Raye, who both wore FENDI.
The rising British actor and FENDI Men’s Ambassador, who recently starred in “The Idea of You” with Anne Hathaway, went classic for his Met Gala debut. He wore a FENDI Men’s custom black wool fitted jacket with satin lapel and embroidered flower, a matchy embroidered tie, a white popeline shirt, black solid wool trousers with side band and black leather boots during tonight opening. The subtle embroidery details are, of course, an ode to this year’s dress code, The Garden of Time.
Meanwhile, British singer Raye, took the silver road to the event. She wore a gown made of a silk silver bustier and an organza skirt with a shiny effect, enriched by a unique embroideries of three-dimensional flowers pistils. The look was refined by silver matching gloves with fringes, inspired by the FENDI Couture Spring/Summer 2024 Collection. The custom look was designed by Kim Jones, the House’s Artistic Director.
FENDI also shared a behind-the-scenes video as the FENDI Atelier prepared the BRIT Award winner to attend the event.
