Piaget’s enduring pursuit of elegance and everyday elevation continues today with a new ensemble of Possession creations, adorned with the iconic Decor Palace signature, where radiance meets refinement in perfect harmony.

What is gold without the influence of human touch? After all, it is the artisan’s skill that breathes life into it, imbuing each piece with soul, warmth, and sensuality. This enduring philosophy has shaped the spirit of Piaget from the very beginning, in 1874, and continues to define the Maison’s legacy, known as the House of Gold since the end of the 1950’s, and its “Ateliers de l’Extraordinaire” based in La Côte-aux-Fées and Geneva. In celebration of this timeless bond, Piaget unveils a new chapter in the Possession story.

Piaget’s romance with luminous gold is central to its identity – a legacy defined by innovation and audaciousness. After mastering the art of ultra-thinness in watchmaking with the birth of the 9P movement in 1957, the Maison set out to unite horology with High Jewellery, using gold as its creative language as the world was moving towards the Sixties. This vision came to life in 1963 with the first precious jewellery watches, while the groundbreaking 21st Century Collection, introduced in 1969 in Basel with bejewelled, openwork gold cuffs and Swinging Sautoirs which redefined adornment as futuristic, wearable art remains as the climax of this golden era. It marked a turning point, a revolution: gold became not just a material, but a muse.

POSSESSING A LEGACY
Building on this legacy, the Possession collection, the first fine jewellery collection for the everyday life which was launched in 1990, introduced rotating, interactive designs which blend playful sophistication with timeless elegance. These kinetic creations embody spontaneity and grace, designed to move with the body and capture the joy of living in the moment. More than adornment, Possession evoked the majesty of ancient talismans and amulets: objects bursting with symbolism and meaning. By reimagining these echoes of antiquity, Piaget breathed new life into a tradition where jewellery is not only worn, but experienced. Through this evolution, an ensemble of pendants, bracelets and earrings continue to embrace, but also reinterpret with a contemporary ethos. Each piece an ode to sophisticated simplicity, it welcomes a flamboyant look that promises versatility, whether stacked or sported individually. The legacy \ of the House of Gold evolves with each new creation in the Possession collection, yet its core codes remain unchanged: a celebration of Piaget’s masterful gem-setting (with diamonds or a tie and dye of colorful gemstones to create a precious and unique rainbow) and the art of capturing everyday moments in precious stones. Among its most emblematic gold techniques (more than a thousand were found in the Piaget archives) is the now iconic Decor Palace pattern, first introduced in 1961 and inspired by guilloché engraving in watchmaking. This intricate, hand-engraved texture transforms gold into a detailed canvas, each line bearing the signature of the artisan who shaped it.

First applied on Possession in 2022, the collection continues to evolve in 2025 with Decor Palace still at its core and a fresh interpretation marked by a new round, flat aesthetic. This elegant silhouette nods to Piaget’s watchmaking roots while offering everyday wearability – jewellery that feels like a second skin. Available in small, medium, and large sizes, the new creations move with fluid grace, adapting effortlessly to personal style. Two smaller, more refined pendants showcase the signature Decor Palace engraving in rose or white gold, each set with a brilliant-cut diamond cradled between sculptural brackets and paired with matching bracelets. Medium pendants feature playful contrasts, mirror-polished or diamond-set gold paired with Decor Palace textures, brought to life by a diamond-set jump ring. A larger pendant, adorned with further diamonds and a palm-mesh chain, amplifies the sophistication. Completing the collection, rose gold earrings enriched with diamonds and Decor Palace detailing bring Piaget’s soothing, sensual touch across the body.

At the heart of the novelties lies the “pièce de résistance”: a bold, multifaceted talisman necklace embodying Piaget’s spirit of Extraleganza – where elegance is tempered by exuberance. Channeling the solar energy of the sun, it glows with 8 carats of diamonds set within an intricate composition of medallions, rarefied in an interplay of shapes and chain links, handcrafted to bathe the wearer in light, joy, and vitality. These charismatic creations are tokens of brightness, emotion, and unapologetic individuality, marking a bold new chapter in the ever-evolving House of Gold. It’s Piaget’s savoir-faire made tangible, a reminder that gold is the language of dreams, and imagination its only limit.
