Piaget Lights Up Aubrey Plaza at the 77th Festival de Cannes

This year, to celebrate the 77th Festival de Cannes and the 150th anniversary of the Maison, Piaget is honoured to collaborate with American actress and producer Aubrey Plaza.
The “White Lotus” star represented her latest film, Francis Ford Coppola’s “Megalopolis”, at the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. For the occasion, she wore the Luxuriant Oasis necklace and earrings, as well as Piaget’s new Essence of Extraleganza ring from the 150th High Jewellery collection.
The Luxuriant Oasis jewellery collection pieces are fully articulated to offer movement and utmost comfort. They represent the stylisation of a luxuriant oasis in the middle of a desert; the intense green emeralds remind us of the amazing nature.
Multiple rows of emeralds symbolise the luxuriant vegetation that flourish near the glittering waters of the oasis. A twisted design was added to remind the curved shores of the running river.
Transformable creation: the pear-shaped diamond of the Luxuriant Oasis necklace is removable and can be worn on a white gold chain. It took 550 hours of jewellery work.
As for the earrings, it took 200 hours of jewellery work to create the exquisite piece.
The new Essence of Extraleganza ring from the 150th High Jewellery collection features round-cut emeralds (Colombia): 0.97 cts, 1 round-cut emeralds (Colombia): 0.70 cts, 1 round-cut emeralds (Colombia): 0.57 cts*, 40 round-cut emeralds: 1.04 cts, 12 baguette-cut emeralds: 0.96 cts, 56 brilliant-cut diamonds: 1.49 cts, and White gold: 15.35 g.
