Following the reveal of the Maison’s new High Jewellery thematic collection, Beautés du Monde in June, Cartier brings the collection further to life in Singapore, the first destination after its launch in Madrid.
With over 200 creations on display at the exhibition in Capella Singapore, the presentation showcases Cartier’s dedication to capturing beauties of the world, with five thematic rooms set within the Grand Ballroom: Cultural World, World of Wildlife, Mineral World, Special Orders and Diamond & Centre Stones.
The scenography of the exhibition took after the Madrid’s installation which was designed and orchestrated by Spanish artist and designer Jaime Hayon. In this succession built around a well of light, colour is omnipresent, the design pure, which rounded arches that break up the space. A singular experience that invites exploration, and the discovery of the Beautés du Monde collection.
Observing the beauty of the world in all its forms, and in order to better share it, guests were also treated to an unforgettable celebration at Esplanade, Theatres on the Bay – home to world-class performances and enchanting art. For the evening, the 2,000-seating theatre was transformed into a sumptuous backdrop, an interpretation of beauty created for the new High Jewellery collection.
The dinner, hosted by Cecile Naour, Chief Executive Officer, South East Asia & Oceania and Anne Yitzhakov, Managing Director Singapore, Malaysia & ASEAN was exclusively curated by 3-Michelin Star Chef Mauro Colagreco. This was followed by a stunning aerial performance, and a concert by American musical vocal group Sister Sledge that continued into the early hours.
