Jakarta, 2 September 2019 – INTime is pleased to congratulate Indonesian actresses, Marsha Timothy and Dea Panendra as well as director Mouly Surya for winning Citra Awards at the Indonesian Film Festival that was held late last year.
Marsha Timothy through her epic role as “Marlina” in Marlina the Murderer in Four Acts (Indonesian: Marlina Si Pembunuh dalam Empat Babak) won the Best Leading Actress, beating other Indonesian actresses such as Dian Sastrowardoyo, Della Dartyan, Prisia Nasution and Putri Ayudya. From the same movie title, Dea Panendra, which was previously known as one of 2010’s Indonesian Idol contestants, claimed her first 2018 Citra Award in Best Supporting Actress category for her role as “Novi”.
Marlina the Murderer in Four Acts was the most award-nominated and award-winning movie in 2018 Citra Award, with a total of 10 awards from 14 nominations. Directed by Mouly Surya, who also won the Best Director category in 2018 Citra Award, the movie was screened in the Directors’ Fortnight section at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.
To celebrate the achievements, Time International invited them to INTime boutique in Senayan City Jakarta and presented each of them with a Baume & Mercier watch as a form of appreciation towards their contribution to the Indonesian film industry.
“Our warmest congratulations to these talented people for their win at Indonesian Film Festival awhile back! We really hope their hard work and passion in Indonesia’s movie industry will become an inspiration for many young people to pursue their dreams.” said Irwan Danny Mussry, President and CEO of Time International.
INTime chose Baume & Mercier for the award winning personalities as it embodies the tastes of the modern urban professional and has been seen not as a watch, but rather as a marker in time – commemorating special moments. Over the years, Baume & Mercier personifies expert craftsmanship through the classically inclined timepieces it offers.
