Acting as the current CHANEL’s most known, arguably, ambassador in Asia, Jennie Kim’s appearances leading to the launch of her supergroup – BLACKPINK – latest single and video “How You Like That” met with high anticipations. She will definitely wear CHANEL, but how many, which one?
Dubbed as the human CHANEL (by her fans and the media), Jennie was actually spotted wearing several CHANEL looks. As she previously had attended several CHANEL fashion shows in Paris, the South Korean artists managed to elevate CHANEL’s awareness amongst the potential younger customers of the Parisian brand. And this relationship is something that predicted to have a very nice long run.
Jennie started the CHANEL parade by wearing a pre-fall 2020 collection during the global online press conference. A sleek long black tube dress with buttons and slit details on the front. Later, as the music video was officially launched on YouTube, fashion lovers would notice that Jenny was wearing another black dress with a white bustier and balloon sleeves – from the Spring 2020 collection, in one of the scenes. Jennie was also spotted wearing a white sleeveless top (with a huge CHANEL logo embroidered at the front) from CHANEL pre-fall 2020 collection in one of the dance scenes.

“How You Like That” the music and the video already broke records left and right since it’s launched, but it’s only the beginning of BLACKPINK 4 months’ busy schedule to launch the group’s first-ever full album with another two songs scheduled to be released until September. Meaning the public would have another series of CHANEL parade from miss Jennie Kim.
