The finale of every CHANEL Haute Couture show is the highly anticipated wedding dress. Since the 80s, the late Karl Lagerfeld always chooses the hottest model or figure to wear the closing look. From Claudia Schiffer, Devon Aoki, Kendall Jenner to Cara Delevingne have experienced this exclusive spot to walk as the bride.
And at the CHANEL Autumn/ Winter 2021 Haute Couture collection presented in Paris, Virginie Viard chose actress and CHANEL Ambassador Margaret Qualley to serve as the season’s bride. Qualley appeared in light pink (almost white), A-line, and long sleeve ballgown—a fresh trend that might be recreated by many future brides.
It is worthy to note that every CHANEL bride is not only functioning as a model who walks in an extravagant, hand-made wedding dress, but also to make a statement on important social issues.
