In lieu of Kartini Day this year, Tory Burch collaborated with Museum MACAN for ‘Women in Art’ Talk. Held in the chic confines of their Plaza Senayan boutique, an engaging and illuminating event unfolded, leaving a trail of inspiration in its wake.
Hosted by the gracious Shahnaz Soehartono, the event brought together a constellation of luminaries, each a stalwart in their field. Notable among them were Amalia Wirjono, the distinguished VIP Representative for S.E.A of Art Basel and Head of Development at Museum MACAN, Patricia Untario, a renowned Glass Artist, and Aditya Lingga, the visionary curator at Museum MACAN.
Their collective mission? To pay homage to the dynamic synergy between art and the empowerment of women, a theme that resonated deeply throughout the day’s discussions.
As the event unfolded, guests were treated not only to stimulating dialogue, but also to a visual feast of pastel artwork specially created by the talented @lesoily. Each piece contains sunset-inspired hues to match the Tory Burch Spring/Summer 2024 colour palette.
