The 2023 Met Gala was held on May 1, and celebrities in vintage CHANEL dominated the annual event. The Met Gala, known as “fashion’s biggest night out”, is a fundraising benefit for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Various stars, young creatives, and industry paragons are invited to the annual event.
This year’s theme is Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, honouring the late designér’s legacy. Karl was the artistic director of CHANEL for over three decades and was famous for his innovative designs and fantastic fashion show concepts.

Nicole Kidman re-wore her pink feathered CHANEL gown from her iconic 2004 Chanel No.5 commercial directed by Baz Luhrmann. She said the soft pink dress, embellished with feathers and sequins required “repeated” fittings, but is “light as a feather and unbelievably comfortable.”
